<br />. <br /> <br />fringe to construct bridge abutments. However, in no case <br />will the floodway itself be obstructed. In addition, Lakewood <br />may construct erosion control measures to eliminate existing <br />and future erosion problems in the channel through the golf <br />course, subject to any necessary Corps approval. Alterations <br />which provide for equal or greater channel capacity will be. <br />permitted but must be preceded by adequate plans approved by <br />the Corps that define the proposed alterations. The flood <br />outlines shown in Exhibit A equal or exceed the Intermediate <br />Regional Floodplain shown in the March 15, 1972 Agreement <br />between the Board and the Corps. Exhibit A defines the area <br />that must remain free of encroachment, and provides a basis <br />for Lakewood' s floodplain regulations. Subject to the <br />provisions of this paragraph, the minimum action required by <br />Lakewood must permit the discharges shown in Exhibit A to be <br />conveyed at or below the flood elevations tabulated in Exhibit <br />A, and in accordance with Lakewood's floodplain regulations. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />11. Duration of Lakewood' s Channel Maintenance <br />Obliqations. Lakewood's obligations to maintain the portion <br />of the stream channel of Bear Creek specified in paragraph 10 <br />of this Agreement shall begin upon commencement of storage of <br />the Lakewood Water in Bear Creek Lake pursuant to Paragraphs 2 <br />and 3 of this Agreement, and shall expire either upon the <br />termination of Lakewood' s lease or any future ownership of <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />-8- <br />
