WHEREAS, Section 37-60",,106(1) (c), colorado Revised
Statutes 1973, directs the Colorado watercConservation Board to
designate and approve storm: or floodwater, runoff channels or basins
and to make such designationsavai~able to legislative bodies of
local jurisdictions; and

WHEREAS, the staff of the Board has reviewed the said
revised report for McIntyre Gulch and does hereby recommend that
the Board designate and approve as floodplain areas those areas
inundated by a 100-year (intermediate regional flood) as described
by the floodwater surface elevations and profiles in said revised
report; and further recommends that the floodplain designation for
the McIntyre_Gulch only_ as- approved, by the previous resolution of
May' 7" 1969, be- rescinded;, ..'

NOW, THEREFORE, BE-IT RESOLVED by the Colorado Water
conservation Board in_ reg_ular meeting assembled in Denver, Colorado,
this 19th day of January, 1978, that it does hereby designate and
approve as floodplain areas those areas described as being inundated
by a 100-year flood as described by the floodwater surface eleva-
tions:and profiles in said report for- McIntyre Gulch; and does here-
by rescind that portion of:the:reso1ution- dated May 7, 1969,-which
applies to McIntyre Gulch only; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Board is
directed to send a certified copy of this resolution to the City of
Lakewood and the Urban Drainage and FLood Control District.
