designation and approval by the Colorado Water Conservation Board;
and

WHEREAS, the staff of the Board has reviewed the said
revised report for Ralston and Leyden Creeks and does hereby recom- I
mend that the Board designate and approve as floodplain areas those
areas inundated by a lOO-year (intermediate regional flood) as
described by the floodwater surface elevations and profiles in said
revised report; and further recommends that the floodplain designa-
tion for Ralston and Leyden Creeks only as approved by the previous
resolution of January 12, 1971,:be rescinded;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the 901orado Water Con-
servation Board in regular meeting assembled in Denver,: Colorado,
this 19th day of January, 1978, that it does hereby designate and
approve as floodplain areas those areas described as being inundated
by a lOO-year flood as describ~d by the floodwater surface elevations
and profiles in said report for Ralston. and Leyden Creeks;: and does
hereby rescin~ that portion of the resolution dated January 12, 1971,
which applies to Ralston and LeydeD Creeks. only; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Board is
directed to send a certified copy of this resolution to the city of
Arvada, the Board. of County co~issioners of Jefferson County, and
the Urban Drainage and Flood COntrol District.
