Division of Wildlife have been over there and discussed this with them?

MR. HELTON: Yes, sir, that's right, along with Rolly Fischer and
Mr. Gormley.

MR. KROEGER: And you feel that there is a need for fur"ther input on
this?

I

MR. FISCHER: If I may, George. The discussion at Eagle--and perhaps
Board member Gormley can bear this out--was largely in the philoso-
phical arena as opposed to the specifics. I do think we should sit
down and discuss the specific regions of the stream. The River
District engineers will soon be analyzing this, and I think it would
be valuable to do that. So I think we have the two questions at
issue: the philos9phical question and the specific technical details.
We have very good rapport with the staff of the Division of Wildlife
and stand ready to work out the statistical and continue to pursue the
" other issue .

"MR. KROEGER: . Unless we hear otherwise, we will expect that type of
give-and-take to come about, and you will keep the board advised of
any comments that are made between now. and the next meeting. Is that
right?

MR. SPARKS: Yes. As we send out the next agenda, we will have a
corrected recommended list based upon these conferences and negotiations.
We will point out to the board any differences that still remain.

MR. KROEGER: I think we will conclude that discussion. We can take it
up again, if need be, after lunch. But we need to make our: luncheon.

-32-
