<br />This project involves the rehabilitation of Victor No, 2 Reservoir, which is the existing municipal
<br />water supply for the City of Victor. Cracks in the dam embankment were discovered in 1984 and the
<br />spillway was lowered in the response to restrictions by the State Engineer's Office, The lowering of the
<br />spillway resulted in loss of storage of approximately 23 acre-feet, The existing spillway is inadequate per
<br />the current Rules for Dam Safety, The City is concemed that the State Engineer's Office may place further
<br />restrictions on the reservoir if the dam is not rehabilitated, The City has hired the [mal design plans to be
<br />prepared by Knight Piesold, Denver, Colorado, The design has been completed and has been approved by
<br />the State Engineer's Office, The project was bid in the fall of2001 with no successful award, The project is
<br />scheduled to be re-bid in February of 2002, Tentative construction start date is May of 2002,

<br />This project is the rehabilitation of the Ryan Gulch Dam which includes the construction of a new
<br />spillway, lining the upstream face of the dam with a clay liner, sleeving the existing 24-inch outlet pipe, and
<br />constructing a new upstream controlled inlet works, Boyle Engineering, lnc, of Denver has completed the
<br />final design plans, which has been reviewed and approved by the State Engineer's Office, Bids were
<br />received to construct the planned improvements, but were outside the project budget. The Ditch Company
<br />is currently obtaining a new design engineer to redesign certain aspects of the project in an attempt to reduce
<br />the overall cost of the job, The project is currently on-hold pending the outcome of the Ditch Company's
<br />redesign ofthe reservoir.

<br />This $19,2 million project is the enlargement of the Green Ridge Glade Reservoir northwest of
<br />Loveland, The project consists of raising the crest of the existing dam approximately 60 feet, construction ofa
<br />new concrete labyrinth weir spillway, and new multi-level intake gate tower outlet structure, The City has
<br />contracted with Woodward-Clyde of Denver to prepare the [mal design and construction contract documents,
<br />Environmental studies have been complete and the City is currently in the process of obtaining the necessary
<br />permits to realign the adjacent County Road, The design is scheduled to be complete by JWle of 2002, with
<br />construction to follow in the fall of 2002.
