This staff gage was <br />installed as part of the "Adopt an Instream Flow Program" - a pilot project that involves monitoring instrearn flow <br />rights with help from Colorado Trout Unlimited and the Colorado Division of Wildlife, <br /> <br />This county has 18 Designated Floodplain Studies affecting 135 stream reaches, One Flood Mitigation study has <br />been completed, They also participate in the National Flood Insurance Program, This is one of the fastest growing <br />counties in the nation and therefore floodplain development and accurate floodplain mapping have been important <br />issues, Three Tributaries to Cherry Creek are being studied, Cherry Creek Dam safety investigation is being done <br />given the new guidelines for determining a probable maximum flood. <br /> <br />EAGLE COUNTY <br /> <br />Water Conservation Board (CWCB) and Division of Water Resources (DWR) <br />Peter Evans, CWCB Director Orlyn Bell, Division Engineer <br />1313 Sherman St, Room 721 50633 U.s.
