<br />Dolores County is located in the Dolores River and San Jnan River Basins and is affected by the Colorado and <br />Upper Colorado River Compact, It is covered by the Colorado River Decision Support System (CRDSS), the <br />Recovery Implementation Program for Endangered Fish Species in the Upper Colorado River Basin, the San Juan <br />Recovery Implementation Program Colorado River Basin Salinity Control Program, Dolores Project (McPhee <br />Reservoir) operations are of significant interest to this county.
