Part Iof the Pueblo report is tentatively scheduled for pre-
sentation to the city and county of Pueblo on 10 December 1968.
Part II will be completed later in FY 1960. Part III has been
deferred. The Monte Vista report also will be completed this
fiscal year.

District is appreciated."

MR. ANDERSON:

"Mr. Chairman, members of the Board, I
have both the Small Watershed Program and
the River Basin Survey reports here. Mr.
Carson, who would normally give the Small
Watershed report had a conflict and was
unable to attend. If there are any questions
with regard to the Small Watershed program
I'll attempt to answer them, but I'm not as
familiar with the details of that as Mr.
Carson would be.

The following report of the current
status of Public Law 566 activities (Small
Watershed Program) in Colorado is provided
for your Board meeting today.

Under planning, Canon Watershed, this
project involves the construction of three
floodwater retarding dams and channel work
to protect areas in Canon City, the Town
of East Canon and associated farming lands.
Agricultural Committees of the House and
Senate have approved the work plan. No
construction funds will be available until
the Budget Bureau stop order is lifted for
initiation of new projects.

Running Creek Watershed. This watershed
is located near Elizabeth, Colorado. Studies
are being made in cooperation with the State
Fish, Wildlife and Parks Division to deter-
mine feasibility of a multipurpose structure
for flood prevention, fish and wildlife, and
