<br />I <br /> <br />the geological investigations, collection <br />of agricultural economic data, and prepara- <br />tion of design data are in progress. Other <br />studies nearing completion are water supply <br />and land classification and drainage investi- <br />gations. Coordination with the Forest Ser- <br />vice, Bureau of Outdoor Recreation, Bureau <br />of Sport Fisheries and Wildlife, and the <br />Colorado Department of Game, Fish, and Parks <br />on multiple-purpose aspects of the plan are <br />continuing. The proposed feasibility report <br />is scheduled to be completed by the end of <br />FY 1970. <br /> <br />Feasibility investigations consisting <br />of plan formulation studies, including <br />possible power generation at Taylor Park <br />Reservoir, and the collection of water <br />supply field data are still in progress on <br />the Upper Gunnison project. The proposed <br />feasibility report is scheduled for comple- <br />tion in FY 1971. <br /> <br />We are continuing coordinating planning <br />and negotiations with the Uncompahgre Project <br />water users and the upper Gunnison District <br />on coordination of Taylor Park Reservoir <br />operation and Curecanti power generation, <br />Uncompahgre water requirements, fishery, <br />recreation, and flood control in the <br />Gunnison Basin area. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The Yel:ow Jacket proposed ~easibility <br />report was completed early in October and <br />distributed to federal, state, and local <br />agencies for review and comment. The project <br />would regulate flows of the North Fork of <br />the White River and Milk Creek, a tributary <br />of the Yampa River, to provide irrigation <br />water for 23,610 acres of land and develop <br />about 55,500 acre-feet of water for municipal <br />and industrial purposes annually, and provide <br />recreation and fish and wildlife benefits in <br />the White River Basin. <br />
