0.1.:::10

Blue Mesa Reservoir is now at elevation
7497 feet and has 751,000 acre-feet in
storage. The reservoir is expected to
recede 37 feet to about elevation 7460 feet
and a content of 484,000 acre-feet by the
heavy spring runoff. Morrow Point Reservoir, I
which is located downstream from Blue Mesa
Dam, should be filled within the next month.
Tentative plans are under way for technical .
tests of the outlet works and spillway oper-
ation next week.

Lake Mead now stands at elevation 1137
feet above mean sea level and contains
about 15.1 million acre-feet of available
storage, or about 58 percent of its capa-
city. Fol-
lowing receipt of the Commissioner's com-
ments, the report will be revised and trans-
mitted to Washington for further action.

Final cost estimates for all project
features of the Bluestone Project have been
approved for use in the proposed feasibility
report and supporting appendices. Financial
and economic analyses and report preparation
are in progress but are awaiting receipt of
final data from the cooperating agencies.
Completion of the proposed feasibility report
scheduled for October 1968 will be delayed
4 to 6 months.

I

On the Grand Mesa Project, plan formu-
lation studies are essentially complete and
