I don't know whether he is going to intro-
duce a companion bill or Congressman Chenoweth
is, or what.

Mr. Kuiper and I go to Salt Lake this
evening for another meeting of this Committee of
14 tomorrow.

I

I think that is all I have to report at
this time. I will try to supplement or add
to f1r. Kuiper's report on the Mexican Treaty
matter at the time he makes his report after
lunch. "

MR. STAPLETON:

"Thank you, Mr. Moses.

It looks like we have maybe, at the most,
an hour left on the agenda after lunch. I think
we will now adjourn until 1:30. We will recon-
vene promptly at 1:30 here. The Board members
will meet at the Argonaut for lunch."

The meeting reconvened at 1:30 p.m. with Vice-Chairman
Stapleton presiding.

MR. STAPLETON:

"Before we turn to Agenda Item #6 Mr. Miller
has a resolution he would like to submit to the
Board. "

MR. MILLER:

"Mr. Chairman, it has been brought out this
morning that Two Forks is a key part of the
South Platte development program. I think we
all know that the South Platte has about 62%
or more of the people in the State of Colorado.
Failure to provide funds for Two Forks would
jeopardize the orderly development in the area
and result in economic loss in the south Platte
and in the enti~e state. It also appears that
the minimum amount necessary to make a start
is $25,000.

I

I'd like to move that this Board request
the Governor of the State of Colorado to make
available funds from his executive budget which
would be used with funds made available by this
Board for the investigation of Two Forks
