Our drilling work on Rifle Gap Dam is sub-
stantially completed. Design data is presently
being sent to our Chief Engineer for final de-
signs for this structure. We have, I think, com....
pleted principal arrangements. Frank has just
got out his announcements for the election neces-
sary to ratify the contract with this District
and I think we'll go right ahead on that phase of
it.

As we previously mentioned, the report on
the Crystal Dam and Powerplant, an additional unit
to the Curecanti Project, has been completed and
sent to the Bureau of the Budget for their com-
ments.

Moving on to General Investigations, I think
we have also reported this previously, our recon-
naissance reports on the Ruedi-western Slope
Investigations and on the Parshall Project inves-
tigations were completed in January 1963, and for-
warded to the commissioner's office. I think the
comments on that from everybody have been re-
ceived and I think the necessary revisions have
been made and that report is about ready for
release. We anticipate the completion of the
Juniper project reconnaissance report this month.
,'Ie have also completed in our office the initial
draft of the Upper Gunnison Basin project. That
is scheduled for completion before the end of
this fiscal year.
