I haven't been
able to find it."

"The Acting Director's Report."

"I've been looking at it out of the May 2nd
Memorandum th~t we got. It's the same thing.

Bob Jennings, at our last meeting, told us
about the progress on Flaming Gorge and I still
take it, Bob, that the last week in June is a
good time?"

UYes.1I

"We have two possibilities that the staff
has outlined for us; one is to hold the Board
meeting at Craig, leaving at 8 o'clock one
morning from Denver (the people that would leave
from Denver), arriving at Craig at 9:30 a.m. and
spending the whole day for the regular Board
meeting; leaving by car for Vernal and spending
the next day touring Flaming Gorge, arriving back
in Denver about 8 o'clock the night of the second
day. The other one is for more virile, younger
members of the Board who can do all this in one
day which means that you start at 5 o'clock in
the morning or thereabouts from Denver and do
all of this in one day.

I would like comments from members of the
Board as to t"'.eir pleasure."

"Mr. Chairman, do you have much planned for
the meeting, will it be a long meeting or a
short one probably?"

"I don't think we ever really know. Phil
Smith doesn't get his resolutions in until a
couple of days before the deadline."

"If we have very much to take up I'm opposed
to having a meeting and the tour on the same
day."
