Getting baGk to the subject matter, the Two
Forks and the Tomichi and Ohio Creek, you realize
that the area involved in the Ohio Creek and
Tomichi is made up of ranchers and, of course,
agricultural economy being as it is, I'm sure
they could not match dollar for dollar with the
City and County of Denver in raising funds to
make investigations but I am satisfied that they
would go to the fullest extent possible to contri-
bute what they possibly can to further this inves-
tigation because it is badly needed in that area."

"We intend to ask them for some money, Mr.
Peterson."

"It seems to me that the motion I suggested,
and that Judge Conour made and Mr. Burr seconded,
leaves all these things open. I think Mr. Miller
can certainly vote against the resolution but
all the resolution does, it spurs the interested
people in the various areas to come back with
some concrete program as to how to go forward.
Nobody says anything in the resolution or has
said anything at this meeting that we are going
to, in any way, deter these things. It's just an
economic problem with us and we're prodding you
for additional solutions.

Any further discussion on the motion? All
those in favor will signify by saying 'aye';
opposed?"

"For reasons previously stated, I feel con-
strained to oppose the resolution."

"I would have to vote no too."

"Motion carried.

I'd like now, just to take another thing
out of order, and then we'll get to the regular
agenda item~,as some of our people may be leaving
before we get to it and I think it's important
and that's the June meeting of the Board.
