"May I inquire from whoever can give this
information, is it necessary that we eliminate
Ohio and Tomichi and the Upper South Platte Two
Forks at this particular time?"

"We could postpone it I presume until the
last meeting of the year which we are going to
consider for the last week in June. It seems to
me that it's a foregone conclusion there is no
way now to restore the budget cuts; it's a
question of whether we are going to cut back
projects that are already under investigation
or not make any new starts until we can resolve
these things."

"I 0 m not so familiar with Ohio and Tomichi
Creek but Two Forks, of course, has been in the
discussion stage and considered by this Board
as far back as 30 years ago and I just could not
vote for a resolution that shelves Two Forks.
I am wondering whether there is some place that
we can at least reserve a token amount for both
of these projects, the Ohio and Tomichi and the
Upper South Platte. One is on one side of the
range and the other is on the other and I think
it is a mistake to cut them out. I further
indicate again that there can be money made
available, I am sure, from those effected by
the elimination of Two Forks and, while as far
as the people I represent they are in no posi-
tion to extend a very great amount, I think
money can be forthcoming on a voluntary basis
to keep the se alive."

to have this motion tabled another month or so
to find out what the situation is locally as
well as any changes before the beginning of the
next fiscal year."
