All 5 of these stream
segments were recommended by the BLM for inclusion in the Instream Flow Program. .

Phase I - Coordination, Planning and Field Data Collection

Approximately 92 stream segments have been identified for field data collection in Water Division
3. Field data regarding all of the Phase 1 segments is anticipated to be collected using the R2X
Methodology and standard fish sampling techniques. The natural
envirorunent to be preserved is generally a cold water fishery. The exceptions to the cold water
fishery envirorunent could include Bieser and Blue Creeks.

Water Division 5

Approximately 72 potential new instream flow segments have been identified in Water Division 5.
These segments have been placed in the following Phase classifications.

8

.
