<br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />I compliance permits. <br />2 (2) In addition to any other appropriation, there is hereby <br />3 appropriated, out of any moneys in the Colorado water conservation board <br />4 construction fund not otherwise appropriated, to the Colorado water <br />5 conservation board, for the fiscal year beginning July I, 2001, the sum of <br />6 five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000), or so much thereof as may be <br />7 necessary, to participate in obtaining the necessary construction and <br />8 environmental compliance permits, including the necessary feasibility <br />9 studies, associated with the enlargement of Elkhead reservoir in Moffat <br />10 county. <br />II (3) The moneys appropriated in subsection (2) of this section shall <br />12 remain available for the designated purposes until June 30, 2004, or until <br />13 the studies are completed, whichever event takes place first. <br />14 SECTION 13. Drought planning survey - appropriation. <br />15 (1) The Colorado water conservation board is hereby authorized to <br />16 contract with responsible contractors for the purpose of preparing a <br />17 statewide water user survey to collect information regarding <br />18 demographics, growth, water supplies; drought plans, water supply <br />19 depletions, water use limitations, and drought preparedness. The survey <br />20 will result in a report containing a database and expert analysis of the <br />21 information listing recommendations addressing future drought planning <br />22 needs. The survey is to be conducted in the year 2001, with the final <br />23 report completed by July 31, 2002. <br />24 (2) In addition to any other appropriation, there is hereby <br />25 appropriated, out of any moneys in the Colorado water conservation board <br />26 construction fund not otherwise appropriated, to the Colorado water <br />27 conservation board, the sum of three hundred fifty thousand dollars <br /> <br />-12- <br /> <br />SBOI-I57 <br />
