Project storage would be provided in McPhee, Monument <br /> Creek and Dawson Draw reservoirs, and Totten Lake <br /> dikes. <br /> (1) McPhee Reservoir would provide primary regulation <br /> of Dolores River. <br /> (2) Other project features serve Montezuma Valley, <br /> Dove Creek, and Towaoc areas. <br /> c. Water deliveries <br /> (1) Irrigation water deliveries totaling 92,500 <br /> acre-feet would be made available to 61,656 <br /> acres of land including 7,500 acres of full- <br /> service land on Ute Mountain Ute Indian Res- <br /> ervation. <br /> (2) A municipal and industrial water supply totaling <br /> 8,700 acre-feet would be available for Cortez, <br /> Dove Creek, and Ute Mountain Ute Indian tribe <br /> at Towaoc. <br /> d. General <br /> (1) At Imperial Dam salinity concentrations would be <br /> increased by about 12.1 mg/1. <br /> (2) Depletions to Colorado River flows would be about <br /> 91,000 acre-feet. <br /> (3) Project construction costs total $107,222,000. <br /> Average annual benefits for irrigation, municipal <br />I and industrial, fish and wildlife, recreation and <br /> flood control are estimated at $6,318,600. <br /> Direct benefit cost ratio is 1.36:1.00. <br /> e. Dolores Water Conservancy District which encompasses <br /> Dove Creek area, Montezuma Valley area, and McPhee <br /> Reservoir in Dolores River Valley, would be principal <br /> administrative and contractual agency. <br /> <br />-12- <br />
