Montrose is currently in critical <br />need of additional water supply. . <br /> <br />24,000 acre-feet could be provided to Kemmerer <br />Coal Company for their anticipated development <br />along with 5,500 acre-feet for other industrial <br />needs in the valley. <br /> <br />Other significant benefits would accrue to <br />fisheries, recreation and flood control <br />functions. <br /> <br />d.
