Glenwood-Dotsero Springs Unit <br /> <br />(1) <br /> <br />(2) <br />(3) <br /> <br />(1) This is largest point source contributor in <br />Upper Colorado Region, with a flow of 25~000 <br />acre-feet and 500,000. tons of salt annually. <br />Several alternatives have been considered for <br />removing about 200,000 tons of sait annually. <br /> <br />(2) The best method wouid be some form of desalting <br />or collection and disposal by evaporation. <br /> <br />(3) Appraisal report is scheduled for the end fiscal <br />1975. <br /> <br />(4) Current studies concluded aerial infrared photo- <br />graph along the Colorado River from Glenwood <br />Springs to Dotsero to better define all sources <br />of entry to the river. <br /> <br />d.
