Director Stone submitted to the Board copy of an Executive Order by
the Governor appointing George J. Bailey of Walden, Colorado; J. M.
Dille of Fort Morgan, Colorado; and E. L. Dutcher of Gunnison, Colorado,
as members of the Colorado Water Conservation Board for a term expiring in each
case on May 12, 1955. Such Executive Order was made a part of the minutes
of this meeting. Thereupon, the oath of office was duly administered
to each of such appointees.

The Executive Order, above mentioned, is as follows:

ORDERED:

That the following named persons be, and they are hereby
appointed members of the

COLORADJ WATER CONSERVATION BOARD:

George J. Bailey, Walden, for a term expiring May 12, 1955;
J. E. Dille, Fort Morgan, for a term expiring Hay 12, 1955;
E. L. Dutcher, Gunnison, for a term expiring May 12, 1955;

GIVEN under my hand and the Executive Seal this Twenty-first
day of May, A. D. 195~

The Director stated that the three appointments of office would be
filed with the Secretary of State.

Vice-Chairman George J. Bailey announced that the next order of
business would be the annual reorganization of the Board.

John W. Beaty nominated George J. Bailey as Vice-Chairman of the
Colorado Water Conservation Board. Dan B. Hunter seconded the
nomination.

On vote being taken, the motion carried unanimous~' and
George J. Bailey declared elected as Vice-Chairman of the Board.

H. Lawrence Hinkley nominated Clifford H. Stone as Secretary
of the Colorado Water Conservation Board. The nomination was
seconded by George A. Pughe.

On vote being taken,the motion carried unanimously and
Clifford H. Stone declared elected as Secretary of the Board.
