I'm sorry he isn't <br />here also. The full committee did meet yes- <br />terday afternoon to review this draft that <br />the subcommittee, Mr. Sparks and Commissioner <br />Johnson had worked upon, as Mr. Sparks has <br />already reported. It was discussed in quite <br />considerable detail. Mr. Johnson made a <br />statement that he would submit a comment on <br />it later on but I think he voted for it <br />yesterday. The committee as a whole moved <br />that it be approved and recommended for the <br />favorable consideration of this Board. I <br />think Mr. Sparks and Commissioner Johnson <br />have done a very good job. I do believe <br />this is a superior draft to that which we <br />had last fall. <br /> <br />Mr. Sparks didn't mention, but I think <br />all of you are well aware of the fact that <br />the actual criteria contained in this Title <br />VI are exactly the same as before. Some of <br />the language and the organization of the <br />title have been changed. <br /> <br />with that, I think that is all that the <br />Advisory Committee has to say on this. <br /> <br />They did take one other action. perhaps <br />I ought to just say, in the interest of time, <br />on the Animas-La plata Compact with New <br />Mexico, they did approve that and recommend <br />that to the Board also." <br /> <br />"Thank you, Mr. Sayre.
