advance planning. Our three projects in the
advance planning stage are the Bostwick Park
project, Fruitland Mesa project and the Savery-
Pot Hook project. On the Bostwick Park project
we have initiated our advance planning studies
and we have also initiated repayment negotia- I
tions with the Bostwick Park Conservancy Dis-
trict. This repayment negotiation has consisted
principally to date of working with three of
the canal companies who will be the basic con-
tracting entity. We have worked out a consoli-
dation with these canal companies so we will
only have one entity to deal with rather than
three separate canal companies.

On the Fruitland Mesa project our advance
planning work has been principally securing
aerial topography which will be necessary and
essential for our further studies. Savery-
Pot Hook studies will not be initiated until
F. Y. 1966, if funds then become available.

Our small reclamation project program,
consisting of a project with the Orchard City
Irrigation District is virtually completed.
There yet remains a little cleanup work to do
and that sort of thing. The work was completed
well within the estimates; in fact, a small
amount of money was left over and we are present-
ly negotiating with that district to put in a
small amount of canal lining.

Another activity that the Bureau of Recla-
mation has on t~e western slope has consisted
of establishing the first Job Corps camp in
the state of Colorado. The camp is being es-
tablished at Collbran. We anticipate that we
will receive the first enrollees for this camp
late this month, probably about the 27th.
