"I have the letters from the utility cqmpa-
nies which were presented to the Board and in
a quick summary of them I don't see any of
these figures presented there. Mr. Kuiper ,: can
you throw any light on where those figures come
from? II

"These figures in Governor Johnson's state-
ment?"

'Utilities' are figures that were taken frqm
the utilities' evaluation."

"This is after the wheeling concessions?"

"No, this is before the wheeling conce,,!sions.
The figures in the second column, as taken from
the Bureau's presentation, I think Governor,
Johnson explained my position on it, that the
arithmetic in each case I can agree with, the
method by which it was derived at I cannot."

"Then this schedule doesn't accuratelyre-
flect the utilities' proposal as it is now ,
presented. Is that correct?"

"It would, as it is now presented. The
new utility proposal goes into effect after the
first fifty year period of operation."

"Governor Johnson, I have just one more,
question and I hope you understand that I a~
just trying to straighten myself out."

GOVERNOR JOHNSON: "I will be glad to have you ask me any
questions you want. I have absolutely nothing
to hide. I want to make it as clear as I can
to everyone the facts that I believe are
accurate."

"This is one of the most serious questions
in my mind and it is contained on the bottom of
that same page. It,is talking about Governor
McNichols and says 'However, I had no idea the
