"I think they should be read. There are
some peaple here whom I am sure wauld like to
hear them. You are talking abaut the recommend-
ations ?"

"Just the recommendations only, on the final
page, Mr. Chairman. The Commission makes the
follawing recommendations:

'l. That the State of Colorado vigorausly
press a demand..that the Secretary 'of the Inter-
ior declare the States of the Upper Division of
the Calorado River as the primary market area
for Colorado. River Storage Project'power.

2. That the State of Colorado urges the
Secretary of Interior to. make final allocation
af the Storage Project power among the Upper
Division States and that Calorado be allocated
not less than 535 megawatts; that in 1970 not
less than 170 megawatts be made available to.
Colorado; that in 1975 not less than 375 mega-
watts be made available to. Colorado; and that
in 1980 nat less than 535 megawatts be made
available to Colorado..

3. The extent of the transmission system
be such that integration af operation of the
power plants af the Storage Project and ather
federally owned projects be effected, and that
the transmission system be extended as near to
preference user laad centers as economic con-
siderations will permit.

4. The Secretary af the Interior be urged
to make available at the earliest date the in-
terim schedule of rates applicable to the sale
and dispasition of Storage Project Power.

5. That this power committee remain an a
stand-by basis to meet an call of the Chairman
to review transmission system praposals as they
are presented.'
