little better idea on that at the meeting
on the 28th, a short resume probably would
be possible."

"Mr. Chairman, I slipped a few minutes
ago. The Grand Junction Chamber of Com-
merce asked me to extend to the Board an
invitation to come to Grand Junction next
summer to combine a meeting with a field
trip to the Collbran Project and the
Paonia Project. The Chamber would help
with the arrangements for transportation
and for the luncheon and meeting. I would
like to put this letter in the record and
possibly the July meeting or September
meeting, you would consider going there.
The Collbran construction will be in full
swing on part of the facilities and Paonia
will be well underway."

"Thank you Bill. We will put that in
our records. We are anxious to get over
there and we will try and work it out this
summer. I would like to go in the peach
season."

"Mr. Chairman, there is a question that
I would like to raise at this time. It
won't take but a minute. I haven't heard
too much about the Wilderness Bill at this
meeting. I am wondering if it is still the
policy of the State of Colorado that no
agency of the State will make a set policy
on the Wilderness Bill until such time as
all the agencies get together, is that
right?"

"That's what the Governor said."

"Yes, the Governor has indicated that
all these department heads will be called
together this month and an official State
position will be adopted. In all proba-
bility, the Legislature will be asked to
have a joint resolution of the Senate and
the House on that problem.

The Governor has requested that this
Board gather all the available information.
