The next Compact meeting, which is <br />an annual meeting, will be held at Santa <br />Fe, New Mexico and will probably be in <br />February - when?" <br /> <br />"February 20th." <br /> <br />"Mr. Barnard, Jr. acts as his advisor <br />and Mr. Moses and myself always attend <br />those meetings, representing this Board." <br /> <br />"Mr. Gildersleeve does most of the <br />pencil pushing for the Board." <br /> <br />"Mr. Gildersleeve is the engineering <br />advisor." <br /> <br />"He has taken over since Mr. Tipton <br />has been unable to give us much time in <br />recent years due to his activities abroad. <br />It has kind of fallen on Gil's shoulders <br />to take care of us which he is very able <br />to do and has done very admirably." <br /> <br />"Mr. Chairman, is there any action we <br />should take today on this?" <br /> <br />"I would think not, is there?" <br /> <br />"I don't think, Bill, we can give you <br />anything to operate on at this time until <br />we have this meeting with New Mexico. <br />The Texas Commissioner, Mr.Scott, has <br />tentatively agreed to pose no objections' <br />to the construction of these reservoirs, <br />the two that we are going to primarily <br />discuss, the Cochiti and the Galisteo, <br />if certain requirements are written into <br />the enabling legislation, and of course, <br />we feel too that they ought to spell it <br />out, not just leave it implied. <br /> <br />I <br />
