"Before we start the meeting, I would
like to ask all the Board members if you
would speak directly into these microphones
as I understand we get a lot of paper rat-
tling. So if you would move it back just
a little bit, that would help us. Also
if anyone from the floor wishes to speak
I wish they would take one of the two
microphones in their hand.

On behalf of Mrs. Keating we want to
apologize for the compactness of the room.
The Argonaut Hotel has fouled us up and
will for another ~onth or so, but I am
sure we will get by.

The first order of business is the
minutes of the meeting of November 12th.
Are there any additions or corrections to
these minutes? If not, I would entertain
a motion that the minutes be approved as
heretofore submitted."

"It has been moved by Mr. Miller and
seconded by Mr. Burr. All those in favor
signify by saying 'aye'; opposed the same.
The minutes are approved as submitted.

Our next order of business is the
report of the Water Investigation Commis-
sion. Is Mr. Barkley here?

As the members of the Board know, and
others who have been receiving communica-
tions, the Water Investigation Commission
has been quite busy since the last meeting
and we are anxious to have a report from
them."

"We have a lot of space here in the
center and these people back here on the
sides are crowded. Why couldn't these
tables be shoved together and give them
a little more space?"
