M.

MR. STAPLETON:

"I should like to introduce Mr. Richard
Conour of Del Norte. He is taking Ray
Moses' place on the Board and has had signi-
ficant interest in the water problems down
in his area for many years. We are delighted
you are with us.

I have one communication I would like
to read, addressed to the Colorado Water Con-
servation Board:

'Dear Mr. Sparks:

Due to the increasing demands of my time on my own
operations and the small amount of attention I can devote to
the Colorado Water Conservation Board, r feel it my duty to
resign from this Board. The Governor can appoint another
board member, who can give this important assemblage the at-
tention it should have.

I regret this resignation very much as I have greatly
enjoyed working with your board.

With best wishes.

Sincerely,

Isl CHRISTIAN WUNSCH'

I understand that we have no appoint-
ment as yet to fill that vacancy."

I

MR. SPARKS:

"None as yet. This just came in. The
Governor's office has been in an uproar
over the start of the Legislative session
but we anticipate that an appointment will
be made within the next day or two."
