a resolution was passed that the South
Platte Watershed Conservation Association
through it's Secretary and Chairman, ask
the Colorado Water Conservation Board to
request the Missouri Basin Inter-Agency
Committee to set up a subcommittee to work
with local and state agencies in the solu-
tion of water problems within this area.

As I interpret the action of the
group - their feeling is that some organ-
ized group be established, principally at
the request of the Colorado Water Conser-
vation Board, to make.a thorough study
and to make recommendations for work to
be done on the South Platte. Is that
right, Mr. Bunger?"

"That is right, yes, sir."

"Mr. Miller you work closely with the
Missouri Basin Inter-Agency Committee,
will you comment now?"

"I think that Mr. Sparks is ahead of
us. He has already done what we had in
mind.

As I understand it, Mr. Stanley Miller
has an exploratory meeting set for next
week and I believe that everyone in the
South Platte will look forward to having
some action come from that group. I think
it is being taken care of, and I have no
other requests to make at this time."

poses of that matter. Thank you very much.

Next item on the agenda is the 'Study'
of Water Supply for Potential Shale Oil
Development'. I'll ask Bill Nelson if he
will take. that one up, please."

"Mr. Chairman, at, the September meeting
of this Board, Mr. Larson,of the Bureau of
Reclamation, remarked that the Bureau is
awaiting the decision of the State of Colo-
rado as to when to ask for action by the
Bureau on oil shale water. At Glenwood
Springs in December we learned that the
Bureau is not including plans for any water
