going forward now. I talked to Mr. Gil-
dersleeve and Mr. Kuiper about it to some
extent. You will note in the part of the
report which deals with water available
for storage at Glen Canyon Reservoir after
the water is by-passed to meet down stream
demands under the compact, there is a hiatus.
There isn't any amount there. That's true
because nobody knows what that amount is.
That we are trying to do now, through the
Water Conservation Board and through the
Water Investigation Commission. Unfortunately
it is work which the State of Colorado should
have been engaged in for at least the last
fifteen years and it can't be done over night.

Now I'll be glad, Mr. Chairman, if any
Board member has a question to attempt to
answer it. I'll 'not guarantee the answers."

"Thank you, Mr. Barnard. First I would
like to introduce Representatives Quinlan,
Wade and Wyatt who are here, and we apolo-
gize that there are no seats. We appreciate
your interest in coming."

"Mr. Chairman, in connection with your
statement - isn't it possible that we could
adjourn to a larger space?"

"There is no larger space available.
The Director and Mrs. Keating have been
searching diligently and there is no space
available. I think we will have to wait
for a permanent situation when the building
is completed across the street. The Colo-
rado Mining Congress, unfortunately more
than a year ago, reserved the room that we
regularly have and we have been hard put to
find anything."

MR. SPARKS: "We didn't know about it until yester-
day. We tried everything, we tried the
Farmer's Union, the Capitol, everything."
