<br />./ ~l/j <br /> <br />AND, WHEREAS, compliance with the recommendations <br />of the U. S. Fish and Wildlife is not feasible and <br />would jeopardize the economic soundness of the project, <br /> <br />AND, WHEREAS, authorization should be made <br />initially for not less than 10 additional pumping <br />installations in the Mosca-Hooper area, in the <br />event the first such installation, after completion <br />and observation, proves satisfactory, <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />AND, 'WHEREAS, the landowners under the Project <br />should not be required to' pay for the installation of <br />penstocks and related structures for use in future <br />power developments, <br /> <br />AND, WHEREAS, the concurrent appropriation of <br />funds and authorization (should re-authorization be" <br />required) would save one year in the achievement of a <br />long-delayed project, <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: <br /> <br />1. That said supplemental report, with the <br />exceptions hereinafter noted, be approved; <br /> <br />2. That all possible effort be made to <br />avoid the necessity of re-authorization by either <br />the Secretary or the Congress; <br /> <br />3. That the recommendations of the U. S. Fish <br />and Wildlife Service, particularly with reference to <br />minimum flows, be not approved; <br /> <br />4. That authorization for lO additional wells <br />be included in the initial'authorization (should <br />authorization be required). <br /> <br />5. That the cost of penstocks and other <br />related structures for use in future power developments <br />be held in suspense to be charged against power <br />revenues when power is developed. <br /> <br />I <br />
