I might say, before I <br />start, that although I will spend a <br />good deal of time on minor details, they <br />like the report and they want it approved; <br />but because I do have to take up ~everal <br />items, one by one, it will sound as <br />though we are picking on a lot of things <br />we don't like. I am going to include <br />everything that our Board has considered.u <br /> <br />UIs that this Board?U <br /> <br />UNo, our local Conservancy District.u <br /> <br />UThey adopted this resolution on the <br />second Thursday, the 9th, of this month.u <br /> <br />Mr. Moses then read the following resolution to <br />the Board: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of San Luis <br />Valley Water Conservancy District has reviewed the <br />Supplemental Report by the Department of the Interior <br />on Rio Grande and Weminuche Pass Divisions of the <br />San Luis Valley'Project, Rio Grande Basin, Colorado <br />dated June 1955. <br /> <br />AND, WHEREAS, said Board approves said report <br />with the exceptions hereinafter noted, <br /> <br />AND, WHEREAS, a dam on the Rio Grande in the <br />vicinity of Wagon Wheel Gap, Colorado, was authorized <br />by the Secretary of the Interior in 1940, and such <br />authorization was approved by House Document numbered 693 <br />Seventy-sixth Congress, third session, <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />AND, WHEREAS, the dam proposed by this Supplemental <br />Report adds no new features to the dam originally <br />authorized, but merely recommends a dam smaller in size <br />than that originally authorized, <br />
