As you gen- <br />tlemen know, the two large bridges in that <br />first section are under construction as well <br />as some very large fills to the approach. <br />That is on schedule or a little ahead of <br />schedule. <br /> <br />Transmission lines on the part that is <br />under construction is progressing about on <br />schedule. The contractor is making pretty <br />fair progress on the Flaming Gorge-Vernal- <br />Rangely l38-kv line. The line from Glen <br />Canyon to Shiprock was just recently awarded <br />contract-wise, being somewhat under $5 million, <br />slightly under $5 million. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />On the paonia Project, now getting into <br />the participating projects, the dam itself is <br />essentially completed. All of the fill in the <br />dam proper is in place. '!'he work remaining <br />on the dam is to put in the second stage con- <br />struction in the outlet tunnel which cannot <br />be accomplished until after the irrigation <br />season. <br /> <br />Construction work on the Smith Fork Proj- <br />ect is roughtly 50% completed.
