interests. The report is being finally pre-
pared for duplication and we hope to have that
out in the near future for final review and
processing. The comments on the report were
generally favorable and we did not have a great
deal of work to do to revise the draft of the
report to acknowledge those comments.

I

On the upper South Platte Unit, Missouri
River Basin project, geology studies were com-
pleted at the Turkshead Dam site and at repre-
sentative l-mile sections of access roads and
road relocations. Geology studies were con-
tinued at the Two Forks Dam site. A start was
made on drilling of the Hudson Dam site but was
suspended because the equipment was needed on
another job.

All contracted topographic maps and cross
sectional data for Two Forks Dam site were com-
pleted.

The Bureau of Mines report on the Two Forks
Reservoir site was received and it contained no
adverse comments. cooperative studies were
started with other Federal agencies to determine
the type of recreation facilities and installa-
tions required to accommodate future visitors
to the Two Forks Reservoir. We are in the
process of completing our plans for recreational
use, fish and wildlife activity on the reservoir
basin. This is being coordinated with the
Denver Water Board to insure that water contact
sports and other uses of the reservoir will be
compatible with the basic function of the
reservoir for a municipal water supply.

The final reservoir operation study on
Two Forks was completed and other phases of
the hydrology studies were continued.

I

Our st. Vrain Unit of the Missouri River
Basin project is being pursued, with cost
estimates of the dams and reservoirs and the
associated hydrology studies being essentially
completed. Estimates of annual operation,
maintenance, and replacement expenses are being
prepared.
