"Thank you, Mr. Sparks. Members of the
Board. ladies and gentlemen, we submitted a
written report to the Board on the activities
of Region 7 but it is dated November 23rd, so
I'll briefly summarize and up-date it to some
extent.

There are no new planning activities to
report on either the upper Republican Division
or the North Republican Unit of the Missouri
River Basin project.

On the St. Francis Unit, Missouri River
Basin project, Kansas River projects personnel
met with a representative of the Colorado EX-
tension Service and County Agent of Yuma County,
Colorado, concerning renewed interest toward
surface water irrigation in the vicinity of the
Lansing Valley, which includes the proposed
service area of the unit.

We received comments on the draft report
of the Narrows Unit of the Missouri River Basin
Project from the various agencies and other
