<br />.J.JV.c. <br /> <br />La plata and Archuleta counties, the construc- <br />tion program includes two floodwater-retarding <br />structures and rehabilitation of 26 miles of <br />canal facilities at an estimated cost of <br />$325,000 with the sponsors cost sharing approx- <br />imately 35 percent. <br /> <br />The cont~act for floodwater-retarding <br />structure No. PR-l and the adjacent canal <br />realignment was completed in April, and com- <br />pletion for the same type of structure combin- <br />ation No. PR-2 is estimated for this month. <br />Approximate cost for these two contracts is <br />$188,000. The next contract for canal rehabil- <br />itation will be let so that construction can <br />start after water deliveries are terminated <br />in the fall. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The Home Supply Watershed is primarily <br />for water resource management, located near <br />Loveland. This comprises 34,048 acres in <br />Larimer and Weld counties, with an estimated <br />construction cost of $1,000,000 to be cost <br />shared by the sponsors 50 percent. <br /> <br />~10 contracts for about $44,000 are <br />finished and another contract for $254,000 <br />is e~cpected to be finished in ~~y or June. <br />These are for the combining of two canals <br />into one canal. <br /> <br />Invitations to bid on construction of <br />the 5,200 acre-feet reservoir and the outlet <br />pipeline are to be sent out this ,.,eek. This <br />work can be done during the irrigation season. <br /> <br />The Louden Watershed is another water <br />management project in Larimer county near <br />Loveland, comprising 20,000 acres. It is I <br />primarily for the rehabilitation of several <br />major canals and laterals at an estimated <br />construction cost of $130,000 with the sponsors <br />providing 50 percent. The first contract for <br />$70,700 for a new outlet from Donath Lake and <br />the pipeline and inlet structure into Boyd <br />Lake is completed and is ready for water <br />
