ing the Harrison, Brush Creek, and colorado
canals, the Cheney Lateral, and a series of
smaller laterals branching from the main
canals. Municipal and industrial water would
be made available for sale at the outlet Irlorks
of Buzzard Creek Reservoir. The project would
provide a supplemental water supply to 3,130
acres of land and a full supply to 6,340 acres
and provide 3,000 acre-feet annually for M&I
uses. The project would also provide benefits
to recreation and fish and wildlife.

tion drilling recently completed for the off-
stream Parachute Dam showed the left abutment
to be unstable. Costs for blanketing the
abutment were excessive so this feature has

the Grand Mesa project. A feasibility report

on the Upper Gunnison project. Office tabula-
tions in connection with the project land
classification are nearing completion. A pro-
posed feasibility report is scheduled for
completion in FY 1970.

On the Yellow Jacket project, a project
in the vicinity of r-Iee]~er, feasibility design
data for Thornburgh Dam, Lost Park Dam, Ripple
Dam, Milk Creek Diversion Dam, and major
structures for Yellow Jacket and Josephine
Basin Canals have been submitted to the Chief
