"I ...,ould like to announce, although I am
sure you all know by now, that Governor Love
yesterday reappointed Craig Goodwin, Herb
Vandemoer and clarence Burr to three-year
terms on the Water Board, so we are all in-
tact for another year. Congratulations and
I am delighted we are all going to serve to-
gether in the ensuing time. I see ltr. Eckles'
fine hand in the appointments and we are
delighted. "

"We'll turn to the agenda items and first
I'll call on Bob Jennings to give us a report
from Region 1,104, please."

MR. JENNINGS:

"Mr. Cl1airman, members of the Board,
ladies and gentlemen, you all have in your
folder the copy of the report that I will
give. As usual, this report will consist of
construction activities on the main storage
units, participating projects, our transmission
systems and the marl_eting of power, operating
the reservoirs, and our general investigation
program.

Starting out with construction activi-
ties, these have resumed on all phases of our
work and generally are progressing satisfac-
torily. Specifically, at the Glen Canyon Dam
essentially all \',ork has been finished on all
\~ork connected with installation of the left I
diversion tunnel plug and spillway elbow.
Also, the other remaining item, the construc--
tion of the visitor center is nearing comple-
tion and we e:.pect that this will be completed
and ready for visitors in July of this year.

On the Curecanti unit, a little closer
to home here, the Blue Mesa Dam, as you know,
