<br />Mr. 'Johnston moved, seconded by Mr. Smi th,that the Board . <br />formally ratify Mr~ McDonald's actions and direct him to convey <br />the Board's position to the subcommittee chairmen and to the <br />Colorado Congressional delegation. Motion adopted unanimously. <br /> <br />Aqenda Item 12 - Review of Litiqation <br /> <br />a. Riverside v. Andrews <br /> <br />b. Sierra Club v. Block <br />c. Federal Reserved Water Riqhts Cases <br /> <br />d. Indian Water Riqhts Neqotiation (Added Item) <br />- Appendix H <br /> <br />Chairman Robbins introduced the above item and stated that <br />the listed issues would be considered in an executive session <br />during the lunch hour. <br /> <br />First Assistant Attorney General Wendy Weiss advised that <br />it would be appropriate, to discuss these issues in the <br />executive session. " <br /> <br />Mr. Johnston moved, seconded by Mr. Getches, that the Board <br />consider the above issues in executive session. Motion adopted <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Aqenda Item 13 - Arkansas River Compact Issues <br /> <br />Chairma'n,Robbi'ns -stated that' this item would be considered <br />in the executive session during the lunch hour. He also <br />m.ntioned that becatise h. has been ~etained by the Attorney <br />General to re'present' the state in the ',investigations of compact <br />violations as alleged by the State of Kansas, he would not <br />participate in Board deliberations of this issue. <br /> <br />, . <br /> <br />First ~ssistant Attorney G~neral Wendy Weiss advised that <br />it would be a'pprop'riate to d'i'scuss ,this item in the executive <br />session. " <br /> <br />Mr. Johns ton moved, seconded by, Mr. Vandemoer, ,that the <br />Board consider this item in the executive session.
