Project Type: Concrete Ditch Lining TIlls $145,000 project is the concrete lining of approximately 7,900 feet of an existing open channel irrigation ditch in Weld County northeast of Greeley. The Greeley Office of the Natural Resource Conservation Service prepared project design. The construction contract was awarded to Pete D&L Contractors, Inc. of Evans, Colorado November 5, 1997. Project construction is scheduled to commence November 18, 1997 with project completion scheduled for April 1998. TIlls ditch-lining project is currently 50% complete. Pinon Mesa Ranches Community Association - Rural Raw Water Svstem Construction Authorization: SB 97-008 Water Source: Florida River Terms of Loan: $206,000 @ 3.75% for 30 yrs County: La Plata Project Yield: 125 ac.ft. Project Type: Diversion and Dist. System TIlls $275,000 project is the construction of a new rural raw water irrigation and distribution system in La Plata County west of Ignacio. The project consists of construction of a concrete diversion structure and pump station at the Florida River, a transmission pipeline from the diversion to a storage impoundment, and construction of approximately 9,000 feet of distribution pipeline from the storage impoundment to the water users. RMI Enviromnental Services of Fannington, New Mexico prepared project design. Project construction commenced September 2, 1997 by RMI Enviromnental Services of Fannington, New Mexico (a designlbuild contractor). Project completion is scheduled for May 1998 with construction currently 50% complete. Farmers Indeoendent Ditch Comoanv - Rehabilitation of the Farmers Indeoendent Ditch Authorization: Small Project Loan Account Water Source: South Platte River Terms of Loan: $55,000 @ 3.75% for 30 yrs County: Weld Project Yield: 15,000 ac.ft. Project Type: Pipeline TIlls $75,000 project is the re-construction of approximately 1,000 linear feet of 24-inch diameter concrete pipeline replacing an existing open ditch in poor condition. The project is located in Weld County southwest of Platteville. The Greeley Office of the Natural Resource Conservation Service prepared project design. Project construction commenced by Robb's Repair, Inc. of Evans, Colorado November 10, 1997 with project completion re-scheduled for May 1998. The project is currently 50% complete with the final pipe segments to be placed when weather permits.
