Aooordingly, the Board respeottully rl!ooDlllends that'R. Lawrenoe
Hinkley, Attorney General of COlorado, and Clifford H. Stone, Direotor
of the Colorado Water Conservation Board, personally disoues this matter
wi th Governor Hunt for the purpose of oonveying the visml. of the State
of Colorado in this matter, to the snd that Wyoming'. .request may be
withdrawn and oompaot negotiations be postpon:e4.t:or t~e present.

Jean S. Breitenstein, Attorney for the Colorado Water Conservation
Board, was oalled upon to make a report on the 'status of the interstate liti-
gation on the North Platte River (Nebraska> vs.......yoming, .Colorado :tmplieaded De-
fendant, . Uni ted State Ir Intervener)., He reported that, the case had been argued
in the Supreme Court on Maroh 5 and 6, 1945, and stated that a decision may be
expeoted before the Supreme Court adjourns for its summer reoess. He further
