Document existing uses in the reaches affected by the ISF filings including decreed <br />uses and undecreed existing uses. The Diyision 4 Engineer's Office and Water <br />Commissioners will provide input on the number of existing water rights and <br />estimated current consumptiye use on an HUC basis. They will lead the effort to <br />identify those areas that don't haye augmentation plans and are junior to the Short <br />Ditch. Estimates will be made of existing depletions, both decreed and undecreed. <br /> <br />Completion: August 1 <br />Assignment: Diyision 4 Engineer's Office <br /> <br />7. Estimate potential future land uses in the reaches affected by the ISF filings. Future . <br />land uses will be used as a basis for estimating potential water demands. Outreach <br />will be conducted to the towns and counties and actiyities coordinated with the North <br />Fork Steering Committee. Working with the county planners, existing and potential <br />future land uses will be mapped and inyentoried. <br /> <br />Completion: August 1 <br />Assignment: CRWCD/CDM/CWCB <br /> <br />8. Deyelop a proposed approach and draft language designed to preserve the ability for <br />future known water uses to be senior to proposed CWCB !SF rights. This proposal will <br />be reyiewed by CWCB staff to determine if a consensus recommendation can be made <br />on this issue. <br /> <br />Completion: September 1 <br />Assignment: Diyision Engineer and CRWCD <br /> <br />9. Project future water demands. Using the estimates of potential future land uses <br />proYided in Task 7, projections of future water demands will be made. Existing water <br />demand studies, to the extent provided by counties, towns, conservancy/ conservation <br />districts, and others will be reyiewed and used as a basis for demand projects, if <br />appropriate.
