Mr. Breitenstein: I do not understand this, you agree to pay
$12,500 to them, but on June I, you pay $4,000, then upon written
notice from the, University you pay the balance and I don't find the
"written notice", what does it mean?

Mr. Crawford: It means the completion of the vlOrk. The
Attorney General said paragraph (b) vms an optional clause.

Mr. Saunders: We discussed yesterday the possibility of com-
bining two paragrapl}s or redrawing to make a single commitment.

Mr. Breitenstein: Page 2, the University agrees to-pay salary
etc., if so, what do we get for the $12,SOO?

more than one department at once, so it is a matter of reimburSing
because they cannot be paid by the University and the Water Board
at the same time.

Mr. Roberts: Then those two paragraphs. should be made more
clear so that the subject matter may be better understood.

Mr. Breitenstein: On private. contracts covering similar matters
intent to reimburse for overhead is clearly stated. So should it
be in this contract. I would also put in the words "survey" and
"report" because you are paying for the report as well as the survey.

Mr. Williams:
