<br />(b) Scott Well cleaning, testing and plugging efforts <br />complete and well is satisfactorily plugged. <br />Testing showed saline water from Entrada Formation <br />has been free to pollute upper formations by <br />traveling through the uncemented void between well <br />casing and drill bore. <br /> <br />(c) Cleaning, testing and plugging efforts on the <br />Marland Well have been temporarily terminated <br />because of well reentrance problems. WPRS <br />consultant, CH2M Hill Central, Inc., has been <br />requested to prepare progress report on the <br />verification program. After analysis of report, <br />a decision will be made concerning verification <br />efforts. <br /> <br />3. FY 82 activities depend on verification program findings. <br />The planning team will continue to review investigational <br />findings of consultant. Data acquisition and analysis <br />will continue on surface and ground water monitoring <br />efforts. <br /> <br />4. The Meeker Dome is a local anticlinal uplift located <br />in northwestern Colorado, 3 miles east of the Town of <br />Meeker and on the right bank of the White River. <br /> <br />Purposes of investigation are to gain understanding of <br />the quantity, sources, and mechanisms saline waters <br />enter the White River, and identify alternatives to <br />eliminate salt contribution. <br /> <br />C. WPRS to do coordination, review <br />and public involvement. <br /> <br />3.
