<br />Main features consist of two reservoirs: <br /> <br />Dry Hollow and Kendig <br /> <br />Three pumping plants, Divide Creek, Dry Hollow, and <br />West Divide; and three canals, West Divide, Hunter <br />Mesa, and Dry Hollow Feeder <br /> <br />4. Located in west-central Colorado, in Garfield and <br />Mesa Counties. Project extends along Colorado River <br />from about the Town of Silt to Town of Parachute. <br /> <br />IV. Feasibility Investigations <br /> <br />A. Dominguez Reservoir Project <br /> <br />1. Funding <br /> <br />FY 81 <br />FY 82 <br /> <br />$120,000 <br />$ 50,000 (Proposed Reagan Budget) <br /> <br />2. Feasibility report and draft ES scheduled for completion <br />mid-year 1982. Final ES scheduled for early 1983. <br /> <br />FY 81 activities include preparation and review of <br />feasibility report, appendices, and ES field drafts. <br />FY 1982 activities to consist of report reviews at <br />regional and Washington level. Public involvement <br />activities expected to continue because of local <br />interest. <br /> <br />3. Project would develop water for hydroelectric power, <br />M&I, recreation and FliM enhancement. Main features <br />are the Dominguez Dam and Reservoir and the Rim Basin <br />Forebay for pumpback to Rim Basin and a baseload plant <br />at the Dominguez Dam. Plan would provide mitigation <br />and enhancement of Fish and Wildlife resources and <br />mitigation of cultural resources. <br /> <br />4. Project located in west-central Colorado in Delta and <br />Mesa Counties on the Gunnison River between cities of <br />Delta and Grand Junction. Sponsoring agency is Mesa <br />County. <br /> <br />Mesa County Dominguez Advisory organized to aid in <br />the project planning. <br /> <br />-4- <br />
