;vHEREAS, Section 37-60-106(1)(c), Colorado Revised Statutes
1973, directs the Colorado WatE!r Conservation Board to designate
and approve storm or floodwatet runoff channels or basins and to
make such designations available to legislative bodies of local
jurisdictions; and

WHEREAS, the staff of thE! Board has reviewed said revised
information and data and does hereby recommend to the Colorado
Water Conservation Board that the Board designate and approve as
floodplain areas those areas inundated by a lOa-year flood
(intermediate regional flood) as described by the floodwater
sur face elevations and prof iles in the November, 1981, Corps
report fot the North Fork of the Republican River, and further
recommends that the Board resctnd all floodplain information for
the North Fork of the Republican River in Resolutton Number 6,
adopted January 14, 1970;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Colorado Water Conser-
vation Board in regular meeting assembled in Denv"!r, Colorado,
this 16th day of August, 1982, that it does hereby designate and
approve as floodplain areas those areas inundated by a lOa-year
flood as described by the floodwater surface elevations and
profiles in the 'November, 1981, Corps report for the North Fork
of the Republican River, and does hereby rescind all floodplain
information for the North Fork of the Republican River in
Resolution Number 6, adopted J&nuary 14, 1970; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Board is
directed to send a certified copy of this resolution to the Board
of County Commissioners of Yuma County; the City of wray; the
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District; and the
Federal Emergency Management Agency.

resolution adopted by a majority vote of the members of the
Colorado Water Conservation Board in regular session assembled at
Denver, Colorado, on the 16th day of August, 1982, at which a
quorum was present.
