'WHEREAS, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City
District, has previously completed a report entitled "Flood Plain
Informat ion, North Fork Republ ican River, Wray, Colorado," dated
,June, 1969, which contains the existing floodplain information on
a portion of the North Fork of the Republican River; and

WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested
by the Town Council of wray, Colorado, by Resolution Number 6,
adopted January 14, 1970, approved and designated the floodplain
described in said report; and

WHEREAS, a new report entitled "Flood Plain Information
Report, North Fork Republican River, Town of Wray and Yuma
County, Colorado," dated November, 1981, has been prepared by the
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District; and

Commissioners of Yuma County have requested the Colorado Water
Conservation Board to designate and approve the floodplain areas

along any storm or floodwater runoff channel or basin only after
designation and approval by the Colorado Water Conservation
Board; and
