<br />673 <br /> <br />forms for <br /> <br />date and depth of all subsequent drill- <br />ings; the high water levels at each <br />drilling or deepening; the depth and tex- <br />ture of the various underground strata <br />encountered; the various quantities of <br />water taken or withdrawn at the various <br />levels; the nature of use of the waters; <br />, and such reasonable addi tiona 1 information <br />as may be useful or necessary in the exer- <br />cise of the duties of the State Engineer. <br /> <br />(d) The signature of the claimant. <br /> <br />(2) The State Engineer shall provide appropriate <br />claimants, embracing data herein required. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />(3) Each statement of claim for any existing <br />well shall be filed on or before January 1, 1959, together <br />with a filing fee of $10.00; and farilure to so file shall <br />create an irrebutable presumption of an intention to abandon <br />such well, except as to those provided for in sub-sections <br />(4) and (5) of this Section. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The State Engineer, shall, within 60 days after <br />the effective date of this Article, publish a Notice in one <br />or more newspapers in each jUdicial district of the state <br />of Colorado stating the substance of the requirements here- <br />of, and that forms of the required statements are available <br />at his office. <br /> <br />(4) Statements of claim to the use of under- <br />ground waters heretofore filed and accepted by the office <br />of the State Engineer shall be deemed to have been filed <br />in ,compliance with this Article. <br /> <br />(5) The provisions of this Article shall not <br />apply to a well, tunnel or other type of construction re- <br />quired by an individual for the purpose of withdrawing <br />underground waters solely and to the extent necessary to <br />provide water for the domestic needs of the immediate fam- <br />ily of the owner of the well, including a domestic water <br />supply for a farm or ranch and for the livestock of said <br />farm or ranch. <br /> <br />Section 147-18-5. The Colorado Water Conserva- <br />tion Board and the State Engineer are hereby designated as <br />the responsible agencies for the administration and enforce- <br />ment of this Article.
