Their current water supply is from the Little Thompson River, which <br />they treat with a micro-filtration unit. The District has no water storage and has been greatly impacted by the <br />on-going drought. This project will provide the following water components: construction of 5 I acre-foot <br />Crow Lane Reservoir No.1, a new pump station, 5500 linear feet of 6-inch transmission pipe, modifications <br />to their infiltration gallery, and the purchase of90 shares ofCBT water. The project design has been <br />completed and is anticipated to commence construction in December of 2005. <br /> <br />17. Mancoa Vallev Beaver Ditch Companv - Ditch Rehabilitation Proiect <br /> <br />Authorization: Severance Tax Fund <br />Water Source: Mancoa River <br />Terms of Loan: $413,OOO@2.S% for 30 yrs. <br /> <br />County: Montezuma <br />Project Yield: 1,431 acre-feet <br />Project Type: Ditch Rehabilitation <br /> <br />The Mancos Valley Beaver Ditch Company manages the Beaver Ditch for 4 members that own water <br />rights and land served by the Ditch. The existing ditch system is comprised of an open, grass-lined <br />channel, approximately 4.6 miles in length, with a carrying capacity of 10.5 cfs. This project involves <br />enclosing the existing ditch with 10-18-inch PVC pipe, with metered delivery points. The project is being . <br />design by NRCS Cortez Office and is anticipated to commence construction in winter of 2005. <br /> <br />18. Bull Creek Reservoir Canal and Power Cornpanv Reservoir Rehabilitation <br /> <br />Authorization: Severance Tax Fund <br />Water Source: Colorado River <br />Terms of Loan: $S94,Ooo@ 2.5% for 30 yrs. <br /> <br />County: Mesa <br />Project Yield: 850 acre-feet <br />Project Type: Reservoir Rehabilitation <br /> <br />The Bull Creek Reservoir Company is located in Mesa, Colorado and has a service area of approximately <br />800 acres. This project involves the repair of Reservoir No.1 and 2 and enlargement of Reservoir 4 to <br />remove the current storage restrictions that have been imposed on this reservoir by the SEO. The project is <br />being designed by Water Resource Consultants ofRitle and is expected to commence construction in the <br />summer of 2005. The SEO's has reviewed the project design and has commented that the project could not <br />be constructed as submitted. The SEO's is requesting are-submittal of the design plans before any further <br />action can take place. <br /> <br />19. YOUDl! Creek Reservoir Comnanv - Reservoir Rehabilitation <br /> <br />Authorization: Severance Tax Fund <br />Water Source: Young Creek <br />Terms of Loan: $19S,400@ 2.5% for 30 yrs. <br /> <br />County: Delta <br />Project Yield: 782 acre-feet <br />Project Type: Reservoir Rehabilitation <br /> <br />Young Creek Reservoir Company provides irrigation water to a 400-acre service area in Delta County <br />near the Town ofCedaredge. The Company's system consists of Reservoir No. 1,2 and 3, all located on . <br />the Grand Mesa. Reservoir No. I and 2 are a combined system that was constructed in the early 1900's, <br />having a 46-ft. dam height at a length of 50S feet.
